Tippy Toes captures a ballerina rising en pointe, arms lifted overhead in the instant before the turn. The figure's anatomy is modeled first, then translated into bold faceted planes that follow the real shadows and muscle groups of the body.
Sculpted by hand in clay by Dallas artist Jennifer Troice, then cast in bronze using the lost-wax method and hand-finished and patinated in her studio, so each casting is subtly unique. Available in black, brown, dark brown or gold patina.
