Create a one-of-a-kind bronze sculpture designed specifically for your home, collection, institution, garden, or public space.
Whether created for a private collector, a family legacy, a meaningful gift, or a public installation, each commissioned work is developed through a collaborative process that transforms personal ideas into lasting works of art.
From intimate tabletop sculptures to monumental installations, every piece is handcrafted in bronze and designed to reflect the unique vision behind the commission.
The Commision Process
Step 1 | Initial Consultation
Begin by submitting an inquiry through the contact form. Jennifer will personally review your project and schedule an introductory call or email consultation to discuss your ideas, goals, budget, timeline, and desired location for the sculpture.
Step 2 | Design Consultation
A 30 minute virtual meeting is scheduled to explore the concept in greater detail. During this conversation, Jennifer and the client discuss inspiration, symbolism, scale, placement, materials, and artistic direction.
Step 3 | Design Development
A design fee of $1,500 is required to begin the creative process.
This fee covers concept development and creation of the initial sculpture design and is fully credited toward the final project cost should the commission move forward.
Step 4 | Maquette Review & Approval
Jennifer will create a clay maquette (small model approximately 5 inches tall) for review and approval.
The review process includes:
• Presentation of the sculpture concept
• Amplification and casting cost
• Selection of available bronze finish and patina options
• One round of client feedback and minor modifications
• Additional revision rounds may be quoted separately if the project scope changes
Once the design is approved, the sculpture moves into production.
Step 5 | Casting & Completion
Following approval, the sculpture enters the amplification and foundry process.
This stage includes modeling large scale piece base on approve model, mold making, bronze casting, metal finishing, patina application, and final quality review.
Most commissions are completed within approximately 3–6 months, depending on scale, complexity, and foundry scheduling.
