Hope Foundry &
The Helping Hands

The Helping Hands collection was one of my earliest creations, rooted in deep personal meaning and first given as gifts to those who supported me through one of the most difficult periods of my life.

In 2024, I founded Hope Foundry — an initiative grounded in the belief that art can be a vehicle for healing and human connection. Through the sale of Helping Hands sculptures, proceeds are directed toward organizations that support mental health and emotional well-being.

Beyond fundraising, Helping Hands are also donated to individuals in need of a “helping hand.” Each sculpture is delivered with a personal note from the donor — a symbolic and tangible reminder that no one is alone in their journey.

Our Mission & Philosophy

Hope Foundry exists to inspire hope and healing for those who have suffered due to trauma or a difficult diagnosis.

We believe healing happens through human connection — through shared stories, honest conversations, and the reminder that no one walks their hardest chapter alone.

Every Helping Hand carries that mission forward: proceeds fund mental health services through our partner organizations, placing real support in the hands of survivors and their families.

How It All Began

At seventeen, I was kidnapped. For years, I carried that experience in silence — until I began to sculpt it.

Recreating what happened through art became my way of processing the trauma. When the work was complete, my family and I destroyed the collection together — a ritual of release, and of choosing to move forward.

The Helping Hands were born from what came next: gratitude. Each hand honors the people who held me up, and extends that same support to others walking their own road toward healing.

The Experience

In the face of what seems like unending tragedies — floods, fires, political unrest, & more — Jennifer Troice inspires resilience. Jennifer's story is full of twists, turns, & edge-of-your-seat moments. Audiences engage & are immersed in the experience, becoming one with her story, impacting emotions, empathy & understanding. During this shared experience, deep personal connections & relationships among friends, colleagues & strangers are forged.

Who We Support

Hope Foundry directs 100% of Helping Hands proceeds — $60 from every hand — to the partner organization of the buyer's choice:

Hostage & Missing Families Forum — Founded in the aftermath of October 7, the Forum supports the families of hostages and missing persons in Israel, providing mental health treatment and emotional care for families enduring the unimaginable.

Yellow Rose Gala Foundation — A Dallas institution since 1986, founded by Dee and Jimmy Wynne after Dee's MS diagnosis. In partnership with the National MS Society, 100% of net proceeds fund progressive MS research — a cause Jennifer, living with MS herself, holds close to her heart.

Dallas Children's Advocacy Center — DCAC serves children who have experienced abuse, uniting investigators, medical professionals, and therapists under one roof to provide no-cost, trauma-informed care for children and their families.

National Breast Cancer Foundation — Headquartered in North Texas, NBCF helps women facing breast cancer through early detection programs, education, and patient support services.

Voices of Hope

Amanda — Helping Hand Recipient

"I know I am not alone in my Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis. Meeting Jennifer, receiving a literal and figurative helping hand, and knowing there is work being done to find a cure for MS gives me hope."

Participant — The Hope Foundry Experience

"Jennifer has a beautiful soul & a solid core of steel. It would have been easy for this experience to take her down a very dark path, & I am so proud of her & amazed by her strength, resilience, & absolute determination to not let this beat her."

Uncle of a Kidnapped Individual — October 7

"I understood that I have to take care of myself. I talked with the people of the Hosen Division, and I asked them if I could have a mental treatment, and of course, they let me join the program. So now, after five months, I feel more comfortable with myself, less angry, and more accepting of what happened."
